Dr. Timothy Olson was born and raised in Rochester, MN and completed his undergraduate degree at the Massachusettes Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. He completed a combined M.D./Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota including his doctoral thesis in neuroscience focusing on molecular mechanisms of pain transmission. He then returned to Boston and completed his residency in the Anesthesiology and fellowship in pain medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusettes General Hospital. He recently returned to his home state and joined the Center for Pain Managment in Sartell, MN. Dr. Olson is board certified in Anesthesiology and board certified in Pain Management.
